Shri Rudrnath Temple, Sagar Village
Rudranath is one of the five Kedars (Panch Kedar) temples in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, India. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, it is located about 3,600 meters above sea level. According to legends, it is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva's face appeared.
The temple is located in a serene place surrounded by meadows and greenery, snowy, tall hills, and mountains; nature makes the place quiet. To reach Rudranath, pilgrims must cover a long, rough track, which is also a trek. Still, the trek has fantastic views of the Garhwal Himalayas.
Visiting Rudranath is not just a spiritual experience; it is also an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature in a serene and magical setting.
